How do I make a purchase?
 

Please use the main category navigations to assist you through our online shop: FABRIC, TRIMMING, ACCESSORIES, NEW ARRIVALS, and ON SALE ? Alternatively, you can use the SEARCH box to locate a specific item. You can also narrow your search by filtering by price, Fabric type, color and Design. Once you have found what you are looking for, select your quantity and click ‘ADD TO CART’.

 

Review your selected items by clicking the ‘MY SHOPPING CART’ icon in the top right corner of the page. You can remove items from your shopping cart at any time during your visit by first ticking the undesirable item and then by clicking ‘DELETE’ under the specific item. You can change the quantity of your order by updating quantity and clicking ‘UPDATE’. You can also add items to your ‘WISHLIST’ for future reference.

 Once you have decided what you would like to purchase, click the ‘CHECKOUT’ icon to enter billing and shipping information and place your order.

Do I need to register to place an order?
 
No. You have the option to checkout without registering. However registering is quick and easy and will enable you to access your account using your e-mail address and password. Having an account enables you to safely save your details for faster shopping and gain access to your Wish List.
What should I do if I forget my password?
 
This isn't a problem. GO to ‘MY ACCOUNT' and select LOGIN/SIGN UP’, click ‘FORGOT PASSWORD?’ then enter your email address. An email will be sent to your inbox containing both your username and password. If you continue to have difficulty please contact our Customer Services.

What if the item I would like is listed as "Out of Stock"?
 
1-When requested quantity is totally unavailable a fade photo appears on the web page tagged “sold out”. Sold Out does mean that we are out of stock. So, the best way is to contact our support team during working hours (9:00 am till 5:00 pm from Sunday till Thursday on below mentioned contact info.

2- If quantities needed are not all available and need some more, do not worry. Just tick the notification box “I need to be notified of product availability” an email will be sent to your attentions once goods are available again. How do I change currency?
 
At any point, you can change between Saudi Riyal (SR), Dollars ($), Euros (€) or any other currency by going to the currency converter in our website click here.
Will I have to pay additional duties or taxes?
 
If your destination is outside the KSA, you are liable for all import duties, customs, and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to; therefore payment will be required by customs to release your order. We recommend that you investigate potential charges before placing your order, as different countries have variable procedures.
How long does delivery take and cost?
 

All orders will be sent by Fast courier and will require a signature on receipt. Your goods will be delivered in 2-3 working days from day of dispatch. For your convenience, you will be notified by email letting you know the hour in which your goods will be delivered to you.

Please note, orders placed after 11am on Thursday may be dispatched the following Sunday.

How will my order be packaged?
 
Your order will be placed inside a Al-Guthmi Fabrics packaging bag or Box, which will then be placed inside a delivery bag. Each item will be personally inspected by a member of Al-Guthmi Quality Control Team, before it is packaged and sent out for delivery.
Do I need to sign for my order?
 
Yes, your order will need to be signed for as proof of delivery.
Can I return or exchange an item?
 

All non-fabric/trimming goods may be returned for refund if in perfect re-saleable condition. Unfortunately, it is not possible to return or exchange fabrics or trimmings that have been ordered and cut to your specification. This does not affect your statutory rights.

How do you calculate the weight of my puchases?
 

Large, lightweight packages are charged at their volumetric weight for the space they occupy, rather than their actual physical weight. To determine volumetric weight, first we will calculate the volume of your package and then multiply this figure by the relevant conversion factor.

What are Martindale rubs?
 

Martindale rubs is the definition of testing method used to measure the amount of abrasion the fabric can withstand. The number of Martindale rubs is recorded for your perusal on every fabric specification sheet. As a rough rule of thumb;

> up to 12000 - light use (occasional furniture)
> 13000 – 20000 – residential
> 21000 and above - commercial

What is FR?
 

FR means Flame Retardant it is inherently flame-retardant polyester, frequently used as the composition of fabrics intended for hotels and hospitality projects that have flame retardant law requirements. Flame retardant fabrics and flame retardant treated fabrics should pass either 1530 part 2 and/or 3 of the applicable Australasian laws.

What is railroading?
 

Many upholstery fabrics are designed to that they can be RAILROADED. This means that if you turn the bolt on end and roll out the fabric from left to right, the pattern would be continuous across the roll. Fabric which is woven this way is particularly useful in sofas. If a fabric can be railroaded, this eliminates seams on the outside back of a large sofa. If a fabric is not woven to be railroaded, the fabric is used OFF THE ROLL
